Research

Across my projects, I investigate the tensions between moral ideals and real-world behavior. Why do people sometimes act against their own values? What enables ethical lapses to spread within organizations? How do social expectations shape what is considered legitimate or acceptable?

To answer these questions, I use experimental methods, often involving incentivized tasks, hierarchical structures, and novel tools like virtual reality, to capture behavior in controlled yet realistic settings. My goal is to bring empirical precision to topics that are often treated as philosophical or abstract.
